7月2日讯 《每日邮报》报道，英格兰后卫格伊在对阵斯洛伐克的比赛中场休息时不得不注射止痛针，来坚持踢完比赛。

据悉，格伊在上半场肩膀受伤，这导致他感到剧烈疼痛，不得不在场边接受长时间的治疗。但格伊决心要踢完这场关键比赛，因此在中场休息阶段，他接受了止痛针注射，并带伤踢了120分钟比赛。

本场比赛中，格伊拿到自己本届赛事的第二张黄牌，意味着他将无法参加对瑞士的八强比赛。
